ONLINE ASSESSMENT
Competence and learning is the key to successful business but how to measure the
invisible? Wrtsil Land & Sea Academy has in place various solutions to assess peoples
technical knowledge and skills, and for that purpose we have e.g. developed an easy to
use Computer Generated on-line Asessment tool (CGA) to assess competence and learning
processes of our customers and internal training students.

WLSA assessment process has the following main steps:

- Document acquisition from the specific project
- Assessment question database compilation
- Insertion unit the CGA application module for the project.

Each step of the assessment is development process is quality controlled to ensure that
the assessment modules produced match the installed components and that the content is
correct and fulfilling the assessment objectives. The CGA is web based so that people can
assess online from their own computers.
