Students were engaged with Ms. Daigles lesson. There was minimal redirection. Reminders to raise hands was all
that was needed during this lesson.

Comments:
Ms. Daigle made links with students prior learning and experiences by connecting familiar fairy tale characters
during her lesson as well as what a typical family was. Students were encouraged to add in their thoughts of what
a family was as well.

Constantly checked in with students as she circulated the room and assisted where needed to support students
learning and success.

Comments:
Its always a good practice to write your I can statement on the board so students can have a visual of what they
are doing. Great job on restating the objective several times during your lesson.

Very methodical in questioning during the
lesson. Ms. Daigle already had questions planned Write the objective of the day on the board for

Many connections were made through out the lesson
to build on prior knowledge.

Students knew the expectations and were engaged.

chart when completing their independent work.
