SCHOOL-BASED LEARNING ACTION CELL (LAC) ON

POSITIVE DISCIPLINE IN EVERYDAY TEACHING

To: MES Teaching Staf

1. In lieu with the School Memorandum No. ___ s. 2016 mandating MES Teaching
Staf to conduct seminars for teachers to improve their teaching techniques and
strategies. There will be a School Learning Action Cell (SLAC) on Positive Discipline in
Everyday Teaching on November 8, 2016 at 3:45 pm 5:00 pm.

2. The training aims to:

a) Discuss the meaning of discipline and the diference between discipline and
punishment;
b) Deliberate the principles of positive discipline using scenarios;
c) Help teachers implement positive and non-violent discipline in the school.

3. Participants to the workshop are the School Head, Guidance Counselor, and all
the Mapuroc ES teaching staf.

4. The activity shall be organized and managed by Ms. Sheryl N. Bautista, School
Reading Coordinator as Chairman.

5. Enclosed are the program of activities, activity plan, LAC Officials and working
committees for reference

4. 100% attendance is a must.

5. Immediate dissemination of this Memorandum is desired.
