The table 4.1 reveals that out of 19 sample respondents a majority of 9 (47.3 Percent) belongs

to the age group of 31 to 40 years followed by 4(21.3 percent) sample respondents belongs to

the age group of 41 - 50 years and 3(15.7 percent) sample respondents are belongs to the age

group of 21 to 30 years, 2(10.5 percent) sample respondents are belongs to the age group of

below 20 years and rest 1(5.2 percent) respondents are belongs to age group of above 51 and

above. Hence it can be conclude that most of the sample respondents are belongs to the age

group of 31 to 40 years.

2. Gender

From the above table 4.2 depicts that out of 19 respondents the majority 17(89.4%) of sample

respondents are male whereas 02(10.6%) of the respondents are female. Hence, it can be

conclude that majority of the respondents are belongs to male categories

3. Caste Category of Respondents


In the selected region the cast is categorized in to majouly four types they are general

category, other backward castes and scheduled caste and scheduled tribes. The follwing table

4.3 shows distribution of sample respondents accoding to caste category.

From the above table shows that out of 19 sample respondents the majority 11(57.7%) are

belongs to OC category followed by 5(26.6%) are belongs to OBC Category and rest

3(15.7%) are belongs to SC/ST Category. Hence, it can be conclude that most of the

respondents are belongs to OC category.

4. Educational Qualification
The knowledge of women about the environment and commitment depend upon their

educational level. The Success rate of women entrepreneurs can be increased in all sectors

when woman educate well. The below table 4.4 shows sample respondents according to their

educational qualification.

The above table reveals that out of 19 sample respondents, 11(57.8%) of sample respondents

studied degree, 4(21.1%) of sample respondents have educational qualification post-

graduation, 3(15.7%) sample respondents are having other qualifications ,1(5.4%) sample

respondents are illiterate. Hence, it can be conclude that most of the respondents are qualified

Degree.

5. Marital Status
Role of spouse or husband in development and commitment of business is highly

influencing factor. The table 4.5 shows marital status of the sample respondents.

It is clear from the above table that out of 19 sample respondents, most of 13(68.4 percent)

sample respondents were married, 6(31.6 percent) sample respondents were unmarried.

Hence, it can be conclude that most of the sample respondents are married.

6. Type of the Family


An other factors which influences an entrepreneur is the support and encouragement

receives from family members plays an important role .The Table 4.6 shows Nature of the

family structure of the respondents.

From the above table it is interpreted that out of 19 respondents the majority 16(84.2%)

respondents are in nuclear family, the remaining 3(15.8%) of the respondents are belongs to

joint families. Therefore, it can be observed that most of the respondents are belongs to

nuclear families.

7. Size of the Family

Need of raising income for family depends highly on number of dependents in a

family. Now a days cost of living is increasing day by day. The Table 4.7 respondents and

number of dependents

It is observed from the above table that out of 19 respondents the majority 14(73.6%) of

sample respondents are having 2-4 members in their family followed by 3(15.7%) sample

respondents are having <2 members and rest 2(10.7%) respondents are having >4

respondents in their family. Hence, it can be conclude that most of the sample respondents are

having family members 2-4.
