2. This project was really eye opening. I was able to learn many things about my diet. I do
not normally pay much attention to what I eat. I never pay attention to nutrition facts or
calories. This assignment showed me that I was a meal at a fast food place averages
around 1200 calories. That is about half of the recommend daily amount! This project has
really showed me that if I want to watch my diet keeping track of my calories is essential.
Not only that but it was a good self-evaluation! I always considered myself as a
somewhat heathy person. I did not believe I ate out that much. However, as I wrote down
all my meals I saw that I ate out for about half my meals. Not only is that the unhealthier
choice it also means I am spending a lot on food. From now on I will look at my food
budget a lot more closely in hopes of decreasing my outings. This should prompt my
either coke cola or sprite on a daily basis. I will try to drink water or juices instead.
am at school during lunch time or because I work at a fast food place. This not only hurts
my wallet but also my health. Eating junk food should not be a daily habit. It should be as
limited as possible.
My final goal is to have a better balance of food. One thing that shocked me is that I have
little to not vegetables or salads. I would like to add these healthy options into my diet.
