Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority requires services of qualified individuals to fill the following posts
where selection will be made purely on suitability and merit:-
Additional Director Design & Standards (EG-07)
(01 Position on Merit)

Bachelors in Civil / Architectural Engineering or Architect from HEC
Recognized University
The applicant must be registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (For

The applicant must be registered with Pakistan Council of Architects and
Town Planners (PCATP) (For Architects only)
Minimum Twenty Years (20) of Experience in the relevant field including
i) Infrastructure Designs
ii) Finalization of Design Consultancies
EXPERIENCE iii) Development Engineering Designs, Layouts, Schematics and their
Preservation
iv) Development of Master Plans & Engineering Designs for Large Scale
Projects
Understanding of Applicable International and National Standards
Well Conversant with the International Best Practices regarding Engineering
SKILLS
designs
Knowledge of Applicable National Laws, Engineering Codes and FIDIC
AGE Maximum 50 years (including all age relaxations)

i) Strategic Planning and Utilization of various related tools / techniques
ii) Making forecasts / quantitative analysis and Demand Planning for
large scale Construction Projects
EXPERIENCE
iii) Development of economic forecasts / Scenarios and Engineering
Economic Analysis
iv) Development of feasibility reports pertaining to Commercial Viability of
the Large Scale Projects
Ability to develop Strategic Plans of an organization keeping in view the
Commercial, Legal and Regulatory requirements
SKILLS Well Conversant with Research & Development Methodologies with hands-on
experience
Knowledge of ISO-14001 (Environmental Management System)
AGE Maximum 50 years (including all age relaxations)
Additional Director Medical Services (EG-07) (Merit-01)

MBBS from registered Medical College.
Qualification
Registered with Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC).
At least 20 years of experience of working in a Hospital / Medical Services
Organization in a leadership capacity /management position.
Understanding of Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) practices in the field of

Medicine.
Experience of conducting inspections and monitoring & evaluation of Health &
Safety procedures in the field.
Knowledge about the current best practices of the industry with special
emphasis of matters related to communicable diseases with regard to

Ability to plan & monitor an efficient delivery of medical services to the

Joint Director Finance (EG-05) (Merit-01)

At least Ten (10) years of working experience in similar capacity in reputable

Skills Practical knowledge of international best practices in Finance especially
Financial Management
Extensive knowledge of computer operations especially MS Excel
Age Maximum 45 years (including all age relaxations)
Deputy Director Finance (EG-03) (Merit-01)

Salary: Rs.110,711/- per month
ICMA / CA / ACCA / MBA Finance with at least 2nd Division from HEC

At least Five (05) years of working experience in similar capacity in reputable

(b) Candidates will be required to upload Detail CV with recent Photograph, Scanned Copies of

Marks Certificate (DMC), PEC Certificate / Experience Certificates / ATPL License and
other Certificate(s) (if any) while applying for the job.
(c) In case a candidate does not upload the above documents with the online application form,

(d) All the interested candidates must read the Terms of Reference (TOR) mentioned in this
advertisement before applying for the post.

Terms of Reference

i) Candidates not fulfilling the above requirements or submitting incomplete


application shall not be considered.

ii) Interview will be conducted at Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar and Quetta for
which separate notices will be issued (depending on the number of candidates).

iii) The candidates to be called for the interview have to produce original documents for
necessary verification while appearing for the interview.

iv) No TA / DA is admissible for test / interview.

v) Appointment will be subject to CAAs medical fitness standards.

vi) Selected candidates for Joint Director Finance and Deputy Director Finance will be
required to serve at Islamabad International Airport Project Site, Islamabad only while
the selected candidates for the rest of the posts may be required to serve anywhere in
Pakistan as per requirement of CAA.

vii) Government servants / employees of autonomous bodies / corporations will be


required to submit NOC from current employer before interview.

viii) Successful candidates will be required to submit the copies of the educational
documents duly verified from the concerned Board / IBCC / HEC at the time of joining.

ix) Misinformation and any attempt to influence the selection process will be considered
as a definite disqualification for current as well as future recruitment in CAA, even if
the candidate is otherwise qualified.

x) In case, any educational documents or any other document provided by the


applicants is found incorrect / fake / bogus at any stage, the services of selected
candidate will be terminated immediately and he / she will be blacklisted in future.
