I am a recent graduate of The College of New Jersey with a New Jersey teaching certification for Health and Physical
Education K-12. My objective is to obtain a Health and Physical Education position at a constantly advancing quality
program, using an inclusive and student-centered approach.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
September 2016 - Present
Lawton C. Johnson Summit Middle School - Summit, NJ, Physical Education & Health 6th - 8th grade
Revised the Summit Health Curriculum to include the following instructional elements: use of Breakout EDU,
relevant scenario based activities, online portfolios, research-based debates, and online assessments.
Implemented a variety of technologies into the health classroom to include: GAFE (Google Classroom, Docs,
Forms, Drawings, and Slides), use of additional iPad & Chrome applications that included but are not limited to:
Nearpod, Seesaw, Newsela, and Kahoot.
Co-authored an educational grant for innovative and flexible furniture to further promote active learning.
Developed a will present a professional development session on Breakout EDU for district staff members,
scheduled for May 2017.
Collaborated with both the Instructional Facilitator and Technology Coach to develop interactive,
student-centered lessons for Physical Education and Health courses.
Designed a course website that features curriculum updates, student highlights and technology integration.

Restructured the Physical Education class format to include student developed warm-ups, videos and engagement
within the constraints of the program.
Production of out-reach videos for the community, students, and parents including: Back-to-School introduction
video, Hoops for Humanity charity event promotion video, and lesson level Health & PE.
