To whom it may concern,

As a dance teacher at the El Dorado High school, I have had the pleasure of teaching
Skylar for the past four years in various genres of dance styles in the Dance II, III, and Dance
Production classes. Throughout my years and experience as a dance teacher, I recognized almost
immediately that Skylar was a special and gifted dancer/student. Skylars ability to push herself
towards achieving personal and academic goals has been impressive to observe as a teacher. I am
grateful for the opportunity of being her teacher and guiding her down the path that she wants to
go.
Skylar is truly a remarkable and exceptional student as well as a wonderful individual.
She continues to show her dedication, hard work, and generosity within my class. Skylar
processes great leaderships skills and is often sought after for help on various skills and
choreography by her fellow classmates. I am constantly impressed by how she continues to grow
in her skills and training as a dancer. She has become a positive leader and role model for the
other dancers to emulate and look up to in the Dance Production class. Moreover, Skylar
maintains a positive attitude in and outside of the classroom and I have never heard her utter one
complaint since she has been part of the EDHS Dance program. Furthermore, Skylars ability to
sustain a rigorous academic schedule and her openness to correction, technical and performing
skills has made her grow as a dancer and role model at the El Dorado High School. Lastly,
Skylar has served as Vice President and President for the Roar dance program over the last four
years.
I have also had the pleasure of being Skylars Varsity Cheer advisor for a year. As a
member of the ELDO cheer program, each squad member strives to be a positive ambassador for
their school and community. Skylar has been a positive role model and ambassador for her
varsity squad members and peers. This role requires leadership skills and an unwavering work
ethic. Her participation in the cheer program is a yearlong commitment that helps shape her into
a responsible and dedicated athlete that also transcends into creating a well-rounded individual.
I am deeply impressed with Skylars commitment to the Dance program and to her fellow
classmates. Its a pleasure having her as a student and an athlete. I could think of no one more
deserving than Skylar for this particular honor. I highly recommend Skylar for this candidacy of
recipient.

Sincerely,

Wendy Hancock
