Student Engagement/Level of Technology Implementation (LoTi): What LoTi would this lesson be and
Why? This lesson would be a loti level 3 because they are accessing an online blog to see what happened
in class and if there is any homework for them to complete before the next class period.

Importance of technology: Why is using a website-creation tool critical to the project? Could the project
be completed without this technology? What would be lost without using it? What other types of
technology, if any, are going to be used in the learning experience? This project is strictly online so to
access the blog a student of teacher will need internet access to view and post within. This is important so
the teacher is able to reach all the students, post all assignments, and resources.
Internet Safety and Student Privacy: Briefly discuss some possible issues surrounding Internet safety and
student privacy that could arise while implementing this learning experience and explain how you would
(1) minimize risks to students/yourself; (2) alleviate any fears by parents/administrators, and (3) follow
common Internet Safety/Acceptable Use Policies. If you decide to post any students work, their full name
must never be disclosed. You are only allowed to post their first name and the first letter of their last name
to protect the students identity. The blog is your domain and as such it is the teachers job to filter any
inappropriate messages that someone may post to your blog.

Describe your personal learning goal for this activity. What are you trying that you have not tried
before? What do you hope to learn from this activity? How do you hope it will help students learn? I hope
that the students use my blog as a resource to continue their skills and further their knowledge about the
different sports we will talk about. In my blog I will have videos of the correct form for a variety of
different movements so the students wont hurt themselves. I also plan to incorporate rules and tactics of
each sport so the students can begin to improve their skills and play against their friends in school and at
home.
