Safety policies and procedures are required when safety in the workplace is a
must. Safety is important because the employee safety matters. It can also
cost the company lost man hours, insurance costs, workers compensation
premiums, and legal costs. It is the employers and employee responsibility to
maintain a safe workplace.
SAFETY POLICY
I. Make a commitment
Employers and employees who work together to make safety a priority will
have a very safe place to work. They will be able to work more productively
and production will run smoothly.
