CHAPTER 3: Conclusion

3.1 Introduction

As a conclusion, from the previous chapter above, it is clearly stated that Team Marine

Shipyard (M) Sdn. Bhd. is a company that provide several service and maintenance that demanded

nowadays and accomplice with the needed of their customer. With the policy and commitment that

shows by this company its sure to attract more customer in the future, for a yard to stand on their

ground on the drop of economies is not an easy task, by looking at the overview of the organization

history past 9 years from the first years of establishment of this company until now.

With a good and quality service that given by Team Marine Shipyard (M) Sdn. Bhd. has

become the well-known yard among ship-owner and shipping agencies, and with establishment of

Maritime OffShore Shipping Sdn. Bhd. that is a part of Team Marine Shipyard (M) Sdn. Bhd. able

to gain a high revenue in each year until today.

another place according to the request from the customer.

Next, is provide office for their clients, for industries dealing from all around the globe, its

suitable place to handle all the document and meeting to ensure the smoothie of the process. Team

3.3 Limitation

In overall view, this company have faced several limitation that block them from achieve

their target. Firstly, as a company that provide several type of service on repair and maintenance,

lack of professional man power is seen to be the main problem to this company. From the past few

years TMSSB have increasing receiving project from several of type vessel and most of them are

from oil and gas sector. Due to rapid of receiving project with few of man power it end up with late

progress of work and delay that may cause on losing project in the future.

Next is, un-update equipment, in repair and maintenance process equipment are frequently

use and un-update equipment can affect the quality of the end product. Machineries that old faced

of spare part hard to find and can break down during the operate time. Its can invite hazards to the

work place and injure to the workers.

Lastly, is changing customer needs. The era of one fits all type of service providing has

ended. Nowadays, with too many variables in shipping industries and many different parties getting

involved, keeping above level of service might be challenging at times. TMSSB need to be

innovative and one step above others shipping company that can attract the interest of customer and

low price need to be consider so that both side can work together.
