2. Cut a slot in the battery door using the

dimensions specified in the picture to the right.

NOTE! Avoid damaging the battery door latches

when cutting the slot in the battery door

Optional:

To reduce the difficulty of installing and removing

the battery support from the phone, the latching tab at
the top of the support can be removed.

Optional:

To reduce the difficulty of installing and removing

the battery support from the phone, it is
recommended that the three wires that come out of
the battery eliminator be held together using heat
shrink or electrical tape.

NOTE! Leave a 1 inch to 1.25 inch gap between the

surface of the battery and the bottom of the
tape or heat shrink.

3. Once all the parts have been modified, evaluate

the usability of support by mounting the battery
eliminator and the support onto a phone and
making sure that the battery eliminator and
support both mount correctly and easily. Also
make sure that no edge of the supports slot
interferes with the wires of the battery
eliminator.
