Aloha Students and Families!

I would like to introduce myself to all of you. My name is Jaydeen
Yonekura, and I will be joining your childs class in the beginning of the
second semester. I am a student at Chaminade University, and I will be
completing my student teaching with Mrs. Abiva. My role in the classroom
will be to learn new teaching strategies, classroom management skills, and
as well as completing four weeks of solo teaching.

I have been a part of the Kaala Ohana for the past two years
working part time, as well as substitute teaching. Your child may already
be familiar with me since I have worked in many classrooms at Kaala. I am
very thankful Mrs. Abiva is allowing me to join her classroom, and I am
looking forward to work and learn with a wonderful and well respected
teacher at Kaala Elementary!
