4 ~ Pride and Prejudice Literature Circle
Senior Project!
AP Period 3 :)
Wednesday 4.5 ~ AP Exam Prep: Free Response
Objective: By the end of the period, students will practice and prepare for the AP
Language and Composition Exam by creating an outline for all three of the free
response prompts.
PLEASE TAKE OUT A SHEET OF PAPER AND A PEN/PENCIL
In three - 10 minute timed segments, you will:
Read, annotate and write an outline for ONE PROMPT AT A TIME.
Outline Requirements:
Thesis statement, topic sentence for each body paragraph, and what supporting
evidence you would use in each body paragraph
You should write for the entire 10 minutes
Objective: By the end of the period, students will participate in a group discussion
about Chapters 32-47 in Pride and Prejudice.
20 minute SILENT reading time (or start reviewing if you are done reading!)
Everyone completes the SUMMARIZER
Literature Circle groups: divide up jobs :)
Discussion Director: create at least 3 questions that your group will DISCUSS
Connector: connect the chapters to your life, movies, or other books
Illuminator: find at least 2 important passages and analyze them
Illustrator: Draw a picture that represents what you have read(on a separate sheet
of paper) and explain it
COMPREHENSION TEST ON APRIL 21st!

Objective: By the end of the period, students will prepare for the AP Exam and
practice their test taking skills by answering the 21 questions on a separate sheet of
paper.
