 Print in Action
Aviation is one of the most technologically-ad-
vanced and innovative sectors in the world.
This poster focuses this technology and inno-
vation. The design of the poster was inspired
by the development of paper airplane to en-
hance peoples imagination to the motion of
the plane in movement. The paper plane starts
as a flat piece of paper this was chosen as
a metaphor of how ideas could be communi-
cated through paper prints to the real world
and change the world. The plane also symbo-
lises bringing people together from around the
world.

I ACT ON - ACTION

The above text act on aims to inspire the au-

dience to innovate, for example from a piece of
paper to a plane. This is a proof how printing
could inspire and persuade other people to act.
The shape of the paper plane represents the A
for Action.

The colours chosen are based on the colour of

the CMYK yellow, incorporating the blue of the
Great Britain to enhance the vibrancy of colour.
The emission form the plane is green coloured
to represent a green conscious and consider-
ate audience caring for their city as the blue
buildings form out of the plane.

My name is Jessica, I am an exchange student from

Indonesia - currently studying as part of my ex-
change program. I am presently studying at Bir-
mingham City University in United Kingdom for
this semester as part of the BA (Hons) Visual Com-
munication Graphic Design. I was born in Jakarta,
Indonesia in 1996. I am still in the midst of my 4
years undergraduate study in a university in Yunlin,
Taiwan. I am a lover of good books, great music, and
photography. I am striving to learn to achieve ef-
fective communication and design. Other than that,
I am also inspired by humanity and I hope I could
inspire others to have better heart in humanity.
