Strings - General Rules
1. Grade levels for all violin, viola, and double bass classes refer to RCM Grade levels.
2. It is expected that all competitive entries will be played from memory, except in sonata classes.
3. Repertoire must be performed from memory in all Open Concerto classes.
4. Participants must perform repertoire appropriate to the grade level entered.
5. The Adjudicator may reallocate a participant to a class of a different grade if it is determined that the grade
in which the participant is entered is inappropriate. The decision of the Adjudicator is final.
6. In all classes, to avoid disqualification, the participant must provide the Adjudicator with an original
score of the work to be performed.

In classes 6082-6089, evaluation will be by Gold (90-100), Silver (85-89), and Bronze (79-84) Standard.
