Objective
For student teachers to begin to understand the diverse nature of teaching by observing a
teacher for the day.

Procedure
Using the following checklist, observe the teacher throughout the day and document her/his
roles and responsibilities, and how long was spent on each activity.
Then use this information to complete table 2b.
