partner. Then model modifying questions. Pair student and
discuss assignment. Assess for additional instruction or guided
practice.

changes.
8. Academic English
a. Vocabulary Role Play: Building vocabulary through dramatization
i. Identify key vocabulary. Teach lesson and read book. Connect
vocabulary to past experiences. Sort words and plan ways to
use them. Practice. Perform the scenes and focus on the
multiple word meanings. Groups will use the same words so
students will see the different meanings in context.
