1st Annual KEITH LAW REPORT RKL

Whats Keith Law have to Say about RKL?

Ok after I kicked 3 bitches out of my classroom this week (one on Wednesday, and 2 yesterday) that just
left me with 3 fine young men and me, so guess, what, how about another RKL masterpiece by yours
truly The Whole Fn Show!!!! So with Pandora blaring (80s music all morning, and now Summer Oldies
now) we present you with RKL Organizational Report in the eyes of the Myth, Legend, almost Astros
Front Office man, KEITH LAW and his top 100. Here is how I compiled this list: I printed off Keith
Laws Top 100 prospect list that came out officially yesterday. I then illegally obtained my buddies user
name and password, which happens to be TINO TINO, after Tino Martinez of Yankee lore, and hit
PRINT. I then went through and once again crossed off all players that were owned by RKL members on
his list. Congratulations RKL, we own a whopping 49 out of 100 of his list. There is only 1 top 10 player
not claimed and 6 in his top 25 not claimed, so once again RKL owners are dominating in their pursuit of
top notch minor league talent.

Scoring: Simple: If a prospect was ranked 1-10, he received 10points, 1120, 9 points, 21-30, 8 points,
all the way to 91-100 which received 1 point. Attached the proper point value to player and started
adding up and WHAM BAM, THANK YOU MAAM, you have another fantastic list compiled 1-12.

For this report, I will like to start from LAST to FIRST; without further ado, Keith Laws RKL
Organizational Rankings for 2012! Cheers and Enjoy.

12. Batavia Muckdogs: ZERO POINTS: So Batavia had 20 points based off Baseball Americas
rankings, but failed to post 1 player in Keith Laws Top 100 in 2012. Much like my beloved Whitesox
farm system, it looks as if Coach Strykowski will need to do a lot of work to rebuild from the ground up
with its young players. There is talent out there for the Muckdogs to obtain, the question will be whether
or not he will drop his whistle this spring and let the Roncalli kickers hold their own balls instead of him
doing it all by himself!!

11. Modesto Nuts: 4 points: This 4 pointer for the 4 nutter GM Wilson is none other than Yasmani
Grandal who comes in ranked #65 out of 100. At first glance Yasmani sounds like a mix between Yassert
Arrafat and Armani Suit Company, but a closer look reveals that he is merely another raft rider from
Cuba. He was shipped (not from Cuba) from Cincinnati to San Diego where he will have more of a
Spanish speaking population to make him feel more at home, minus the tyrant known as Fidel Castro et
al.

10. Winston-Salem Warthogs: 7 points: How much lower can it get? Will Middlebrooks (Petey
Gammons boy) wasnt even listed in top 100 by Keith Law and he is supposedly Bostons #1 prospect
according to Baseball America. The only player to make Mr. Laws list was Matt Harvey of the NY
Metropolitans, or Mets for short. Harvey is ranked #38 after one season of professional baseball and I
know this guy is hoping for big things moving forward. After going through Laws top 100 I cant help
but feel like Im in middle school again, left out of the party. While all my friends were slow dancing to
Whitney Houstons 1993 hit (before Bobby Brown and CRACK COCAINE) I Will Always Love You,
I was over in the corner making the RMS (Rensselaer Middle School) balloons into PMS by popping 6
balloons of the leg of R. Yea thats how I feel. Moving on.
9. Palm Beach County: 10 Points: Some may have thought I was a bit harsh trashing on PBCs lone
legit prospect in his silly name of JURICKSON PROFAR, but that slick SS is ranked #7 by Keith Laws
standards heading into 2012. I am not sure if a position change is in order or not with the Black Elvis just
signing a 3 year extension with Texas but the young man whose name reminds of a form of Penicillin I
had to obtain after a trip to Mardi Gras circa 2003.

8. Frisco RoughRiders: 16 points: GM Silas Dust brings a 16 pointer to the party led by #12 and former
Cubs farm hand Hak-Ju-Lee (sounds like ACTUALLY in Americana) of the Tampa Bay Rays. Lee was
the cornerstone along with Chris Archer in the deal that led to the Cubs getting the not wanted Matt
Garza. Will Lee continue to blossom or will the name Reid Brignac resurface in conjunction with Lee?
This much I do know; GM Dust will reload his roster and obtain many more unclaimed players left on
Laws list. The recently obtained Anthony Rizzo comes in at #36 overall and is projected to be an Iowa
Cub for the 2012 year.

7. Brooklyn Cyclones: 21 points: GM Norof took many breaks from his constant twittering, blogging,
and columning (I dont think thats a word, Dont Judge) on Bleacher Report and Roto World to compile a
real nice mix of ranked players according to Law. The downside to Brooklyns minor league system is
the old argument, Quality vs. Quantity. GM Norof has 5 players in Laws top 100, but his highest ranked
player is #31 Jared Parker (from Indiana, yea HOOSIERS). Franklin #57, Gose #59, Ordorizzi #71, and
Delgado #98 all have talent or else they wouldnt of made the list (see WS Warthogs) but they are missing
that STUD top end prospect that makes one go Coo-Coo for Coco-Pops. Speaking of Cereal, does Fruity
Pebbles and Capt. Crunch Crunch Berries make anyone elses SHIT turn green or is that just me?
Moving on.

6. Albuquerque Isotopes: 22 points: GM Meehan has 3 players that have made the list led by Arodys
Vizcaino who comes in at #14. It is hard to get too excited about Vizcaino because within in 2 years I
will almost guarantee that he will be older by 4 years and his last name will actually be Smith. Silly
Haitians. Carlos Martinez #22 and Gary (a truly DIRTY) Sanchez is #55 ranked players. Sanchez is the
3rd best catching prospect according to this list behind dArnaud and Mesoraco respectfully.

5. Lowell Spinners: 34 points: Once called Capt. Consistency by Baseball America, the same can be
said by Laws standards as well. Much like his compardre from the UMASS alumnus association, GM
Desberg has nice depth within Laws top 100 but currently no cant miss bonafide studs.yet. TuJuan
(Tijuana as I like to call him) Walker is his highest rated prospect sneaking into the top 25 at #24. This
pitching prospect from Seattles organization is only 19 (so he says) but after some research done by
yours truly it has been found out that Mr. Walker is the love child of the Coked out Oil Can Boyd circa
1992 when he was sucking dick for coke on Bourbon street. I digress

4. Ft. Myers Miracle: 37 points: It is a miracle that GM Welty has been able to horde all those picks and
not get an itch to do anything with them ( it was like he sold the farm in April and sat around drinking
Mai Tais hovering around the medoza line all year), that can be said too about his minor league system
that Keith Law lists as RKLs 4th best. Wil ( his mom was really lazy and only spelled his name with 1 L)
Myers of the loaded KC Royals organization is GM Weltys highest ranked player at #13 overall, just
outside the top 10. Jacob Turner was surprising low in my opinion at #29 while Yankee Banueles, Manny
is ranked in the top 25 at #23.
3. Montgomery Biscuits: 48 Points: This is where the rubber hits the road here folks. Technically
speaking GM Roell, has accumulated more points than the 2 nd place Memphis Redbirds, but this report
must say that he couldnt rank him 2nd (more on that later). Baseball America system allowed the Biscuits
to amass a huge 3 digits in 105 points, but you factor in that 10 points came from the likes of Brett
Jackson who barely made the list on Laws top 100 at #89. GM Roell did snag 3 players from trades
recently that helped him restock his deep and talented group of minor leaguers. Devin Mesoraco leads
the way at #8 overall catcher and #2 catching prospect overall. As long as Joe Oliver isnt the catching
coach in the minors for Cincinasty then I look for Mesoraco to continue to improve and may be seen in
the bigs in 2012. Jameson Taillon and his DV of 27 is ranked #16 overall in his 2 nd year of professional
baseball after being drafted out of high school and being compared to the ROCKET pre roids, he is about
2 years away from cracking Pittsburg roster. One surprise was Drew Pomeranz who I thought would have
been ranked much higher than his #45 spot. GM Roell may enjoy his players now, but I will guarantee
you that they will not be on his roster by the Indy 500. BTW: I still owe GM Roell a bottle of Crown
Royal.Just saying.

2. Memphis Redbirds: 39 points: As I mentioned above, technically speaking Biscuits have more points
the Redbirds, but 1: Redbirds feast on Biscuits, every time and twice on Sunday, and 2: STAR POWER
FACTOR. GM Beltz Jr minor league roster has that STAR POWER in it. Led by Keith Laws #1 overall
player Mike Trout and #2 pitcher overall and #5 overall Shelby Miller, its hard not to recognize him at
the 2 spot ahead of the buttery Biscuits. Like many others in the top 6, he also has players scattered
amongst the top 100. Casey Kelly #32, James Paxton #51, Yonder Alonso #69, and Michael Choice #77
round out his team. The main question will be, will Memphis use these talented young players to improve
his major league roster moving forward or exercise patience with the likes of Trout & Miller.

1. Pawtucket Red Sox: 90 Points: Ok, as mentioned in the Baseball America posting, GM Roy has
amassed the most dominant collection of young players that RKL has ever witnessed. There hasnt been
this much excitement about a team since the Tulsa Drillers left and a newbie name Winston Salem came
riding into town. Here are the sick stats: 5 TOP 10 players, 7 top 20 players, and 10 top 50 players. Let
me repeat this: 5 top 10 players, 7 top 20 players, and 10 top 50 players. Some would credit with GM
Roy with his due diligence when collecting these talents, but I call shenanigans. It is clear to me that GM
Roys sexual relationship with Keith Laws sister has led to this collection. I mean it has to be
right..List goes as follows: #2 Bryce Harper, #3 Matt Moore, #4 Manny Machado (who I was set to
grab in the supp. Draft right after he did.bastard), #6 Travis dArnaud, #9 Jesus Montero, #18 Julio
Tehren, #20 Martin Perez, #25 Tyler Skaggs, #28 Michael Sanu, and his worst ranked player #46 John
Singleton. GM Roy according to Law, has the #1 ranked power hitter, #1 ranked Pitcher, #1 ranked
Catcher, #1 ranked Middle Infielder, and #1 ranked Golf Swing (yea I went their Beltz!!!)

There you have it boys!!! Another wonderful afternoon in Alternative School has produced the 1 st annual
Keith Law Report by yours truly THE WHOLE FN SHOW.

Feel free to discuss: I give Roell 10 minutes after posting this to send me a nastygram!!!
