COMPANY PROFILE
Hitscore live sound is an entertainment company provided by Hitscore Studios and
Kassanga Music Shops which provide entertainment, sound and music equipment hire
services for events ranging from the smallest possible to large crowd events nationwide.
We are located at KPCU building Nairobi and have existed for seven years now with
tremendous growth and consistency in quality and positive feedback from our clients as we
have one of the best trained and qualified engineers in the region. We have been known to
produce clarity in sound with speciality in live music sound, dejaaying sound and the best
speech output.

Having worked with some of the high end bands in the country, top ranked deejays and
even corporates for the six years, our experience is hardly compromised. This profile
clearly outlines a few of the clients we have worked with and their contacts for reference.

BANDS

We provide sound for performing bands which include all musical instruments such as
drum sets, all guitars and all type of microphones required for better output. Here are some
of the bands we have worked with and a brief description of the performance.

I. HELLEN MTAWALI AND AFRIZO BAND

This is a band from Daystar University led by Mrs. Hellen Mtawali (famously known as the
principle of tusker project fame academy). They are one of our first clients back when we
were beginning and we have worked with them for close to three years as their sound
engineers. They are so far the highest contributors to our growth in experience and thus far
they are like family to us. Here is an outline of some of the events that afrizo band have
incorporated us to do

Co-operative bank end of year party at the Carnivore

L.V.C.T conferences at Multimedia University
Weddings (all over country)
 Divine weddings graduation day at Crown Hotel
Daystar University chapel
Corporate seminar at Oshwal Centre

The basic set up for Afrizo band was full live sound with drum set, keyboard, guitars with
their amps and up to six vocalists with Hellen as the lead vocalist. Contact person Helen

II. YUNASI BAND

This is one of the renowned Kenyan bands famous for performing with the Nyatiti and
also recently discovering the Sesube dance. We have got the privilege of working with
Yunasi Band in a few events such as birthday parties, private parties and international
schools fundraising cocktail parties.

Their set up is also a band set up but with the drummer having only the jembe and
percussion but with all the instrumentalists singing while playing. The contact person here

III. KOKO BAND/BAND ANIMA

They started out as Koko Band many years ago but later charged their name to Band
Anima. Hitscore live sound had the privilege to work with them in gigs such as birthday
parties, private parties by the well-known event organizer Big Ted who also took us to
corporate events like bank end of the year party at safari park hotel and KICC presidential
cock tail. We have also participated in art events and talent shows that give back to the
society at a Primary School in Kitengela and an Art School in Baba Dogo respectively.Their
sound set up is similar to Yunasi. Contact person is called Sammy

IV. LIVE BEAT CONTEST 2012

This was an event organized by hitscore sound and I Am Art which involved a competition
among gospel bands where the winner walked away with a recording deal from Hitscore
studios, who were partnering sponsors together with Safaricom, PPMC, and Truth Fm. It
was a one day event held at Nairobi museums Louis leekey auditorium where Emmanuel
band emerged the winners.

The set-up of this event involved drum set, two keyboards, two guitars , bass guitar with
amps and it turned out very successful.

CORPORATES

Hitsore Live Sound has also got some corporates invites on its own where most of these the
set-up has only been simple Public Address with clarity in speech and audibility together
with music that suits the occasion. Some of the corporate events have been outlined below

I. RUN FOR THE BIBLELESS

This is an event that involves raising money for the bibleless which is
sponsored by the CIC insurance bank. It was held at Nairobi school and was
attended by over 3000 people. It was an outdoor event and included lots of
gospel music from Deejay Qym , performances from various artist and award
giving by organizers. It was very successful and the client was highly
satisfied.
Set up included a dejaaying turntable, wireless microphones and 6 front off
house speakers and 2 subs and monitors

II. UNITED STATES EMBASSY NAIROBI

They contacted us for supply of self-powered speakers and wireless
microphones for two moving buses during POTUS visit to Nairobi.
The set up here was very unique because it included speakers which are self-
charged and do not need external electricity and have an inbuilt microphone
receiver for wireless microphones. It was used for a tour bus where a
member used the P.A to address the people onboard touring the city of
Nairobi. The clients here were very well pleased with the supply. The contact

III. VITA 500 ENERGY DRINK ROAD SHOW

They contacted hitscore live sound for provision of powered speakers for a
promotion that run through estates in Eastland for their product (an energy
drink).
The set up here involved a powered speaker mounted on a moving van with
music and M.C continuously talking about the product. It was very successful
event despite challenges from the noise of a generator in the van.

Hitscore life sound has regularly been part of the most enticing parties involving various

In these parties we have had the privilege of working with some of the top Deejays in the
industry such as Qfms Dj Qym, KTNs Dj Krowbar (award winning deejay),Dj Sankee

approving our sound to have a deejay preference.

WEDDINGS AND FUNERALS

Our sound is very reliable when it comes to larger crowds in outdoor events such as
weddings and funerals where everyone attending is not limited to hearing the proceedings
of the events thus making the customer highly satisfied.

when it comes to such events.

CHURCH EVENTS

I. AIC JERICHO YOUTH CAMPS

These are annual one week events organized by the youth of AIC Jericho where they
teach their youth the word of God and are also involved in music and acting
activities throughout the week. Hitscore has been providers of live sound for these
events every year since 2012 with locations varying from machakos, eldoret,
kangundo and hopefully this year at nakuru. The organizers have been positive on
feedback with their director being Mr. Daniel Mbithi -0725920932 (also CEO of
Nairobi Coffee Exchange)
II. CHRISTIAN CHURCH INTERNATIONAL(CIC) CRUSADE
 The church contacted us to provide sound for a week of crusade at Makueni County,
(Kalawa) which turned out to be very successful and built a relationship with us
thereafter.
This set up was an outdoor set up that needed far throw of sound since they needed
to reach people at far distances to attract them to the venue for the word of God to
be preached. Lots of music was also required and various performances from artists
and singers.
