Procedure Asking students if they know anything about George
Washington. They will raise their hands and tell me

Modeling of the Concept
Teacher will explain to students that George Washington
was the first president of the United States
The teacher will explain to the students what a president
is and that he is the main power in the United States of
America.
The teacher will explain that presidents are voted for by
the people in the country
George Washington was the first person that the people
wanted to govern them
Teacher will then introduce the activity where students
are creating their own George Washington and drawing
what they would do if they were president under it.
The teacher will pick up one of each piece to assemble
George Washington and an extra piece of paper for what
they would do if they were the president.
