a. Introduction:
1. Show action of the phonemes /k/ and /e/.
Class 2. Pupils articulate the phoneme and say a word with the phoneme.
Year 1 b. Pre writing:
1. Show sentences on power point slides. (TB page 53)
2. Guide the pupils to read the sentences.
3. Read and pause at the focus words.
4. Stress on words with the phonemes /k/ and /e/.
TIME 5. Show flashcards. Guide pupils to say the words.
c. While writing:
1. Mainstream:
(60 minutes) Pupils work in groups.
Distribute picture cards and letter cards to each group.
Pupils form the words with the correct spelling and read the words aloud.
Pupils write the words on a piece of paper.
2. Linus:
Attendance: Show picture cards and word cards with missing letters to the pupils.
Put a set of letter cards on the table.
