National Technology Prezi Presentation- students will create a slideshow with the creativity of

Goal or Outcome: Learning to not only use percentages in a classroom, but being able to
clearly understand them throughout their everyday life.

ABCD Objectives or The objective is to use a device outside of the typical math skill to show
Outcomes: they understand math. The students will learn percentages and learn
how to factor them through their everyday life.
For example:
Amounts of water they drink
Amount of time they sleep during the day

I want them to proportionate normal things they wouldnt normally use.

To creatively show their everyday life with the use of percentages

Activity Design: Students will use prezi to present them using
percentages to proportionate their everyday
life.

Class starter and lesson connection: I would make my own presentation to show to the
class as an introduction and also used as a
guide.

I would show them how many different ways you


can use percentages in everyday activities

Bring different items with the percentages to


class
Example: milk jugs
Soda bottles
Body wash
Different kinds of food
Teacher and student activities: Let the kids start the assignment in the
computer lab, so we are all together to
answer any initial starting difficulties they
may face

Get them used to using prezi


(play around with the sight, while designing)

Technology Connection:- -use my website as a form of


communication through comments, so
everyone can see what is ask and all be
able to understand
-extra tutoring in computer lab

Future Actions : -I would make this a group project so students
can compare their data to another students
-Use more than one form of technology
(not everyone prefers prezi, but like the standard
PowerPoint)
-give more options rather than portioning their
everyday life, but limiting it to one specific thing
to proportionate
-I would continue to use thing activity because it
helps the students broaden their abilities. This is
like an activity to combine creativity and the
ability to use percentages
