Lesson 1 Day #1

Daily Topic: Science Winter

Objectives:

Students will interact with iPads and computers to engage in a Science lesson
about the season of Winter.

Procedure:

1. The lesson will be introduced with the Penguin Dance video.

2. An overview of the lesson will be presented via Prezi.
3. The students will learn about the season winter.
4. The students will group together and play a game answering questions about
the lesson using the app on the iPad using Kahoot App.
5. The students will use computer to play a game where they create their own
snow crystals.
6. The lesson will be concluded with the Penguin Dance video.

Class Materials:

1. Desktop or laptop computer for all students.

2. iPad for each group of students for group activity game.

Accommodations:

- Special Needs: one on one interaction with the student with special needs or
another student who is more advanced that could help.
- Non-native: print out words in the native language of those students.
- Gifted: provide gifted students with a more challenging task.
