Product Chemcure White Pigmented liquid curing compound
Description is based on emulsified paraffin containing white
pigments for reflection of sun light.
Chemcure White Pigmented complies with ASTM C
309 Type 2 Class A.

Uses Chemcure White Pigmented is used for preventing
water loss mainly on structural concrete surfaces where
subsequent surface treatment will be required.
Chemcure White Pigmented curing compound is
applied to newly laid concrete surfaces to form a thin
film barrier against premature water loss. Without
affecting the normal setting action, the concrete is then
allowed to cure and achieve the desired strength.
Chemcure White Pigmented is particularly useful in
large areas of exposed concrete, such as:
- Bridge decks
- Runways and aprons
- Retaining walls
- Pre-stessed structural elements
- Irrigation canals/channels

Coverage 5-6 m2 /Lit. or 0.15-0.20 Kg/m2 as a general guide.
The rate of coverage depends on wind, humidity and
temperature.

Surface Condition The surface water of the newly laid concrete must have
evaporated (between to 2 hours depending on
temperature etc.)

Application shake well before use. It can be applied by spray
application or by brush/roller.

Cleaning Clean all tools and equipment with petrol.

Important Chemcure White Pigmented films have to be
removed prior to application of any screed or coating.
After application the treated area must be protected
from rain for at least 2-3 hours.

Precautions Contact with eyes, skin membrane may cause slight
irritation. Protect hands with rubber gloves and eyes
with goggles.
