Chemdur 52
Low Viscosity Epoxy
________________________________________________________
Product Chemdur 52 is a two component, solvent-free, low
Description viscosity epoxy for injection, based on high strength
resins.
Complies with ASTM C 881-78 Type I, Grade 1
Class B+C.
_______________________________________________________________________
Uses Chemdur-52 is used to fill and seal cavities and
cracks in structural components such as bridges,
industrial structures, columns, beams, foundations,
walls and floors, slabs and water-retaining
structures. It not only forms an effective barrier
against ingress of corrosion promoting aggressive
elements, but also structurally bonds the concrete
sections together.

Advantages - Solvent-free
- Suitable in both dry and damp conditions
- Useable at low temperatures
- Shrinkage-free hardening
- High mechanical and adhesive strengths
- Very low viscosity for injection

Application For injection of Chemdur 52, the following procedure
is adopted:
(i) Seal the surface cracks with epoxy
Chemdur 30/31.
(ii) Fix injection nozzles into the sealing epoxy at 9 to 12
inch intervals.
(iii) After 24 hours, inject epoxy Chemdur 52 under
pressure using a pump.
(iv) Start injection from the lowest nozzles.
(v) After completion of injection process, shear off the
nozzles and seal the holes with
Chemdur 30/31.

Important - Maximum width of cracks to be injected: 10 mm
- Minimum age of new concrete: 3-4 weeks
- Minimum temperature of concrete to
be injected: +5C to +10C
