Application Details
__________________________________________________________________
Dosage 0.3 0.8% by weight of cement. It is advisable to
carry out trial mixes to establish the exact dosage
rate required.

Dispensing Chemplast BV 40 is added to the gauging water
prior to its addition to the dry mix.
__________________________________________________________________
Concrete Placing The standard rules of good concreting practice
(production as well as placing) must be observed
when using Chemplast BV 40.

Curing Fresh concrete must be cured properly, especially
at high temperatures in order to prevent plastic and
drying shrinkage. Use Chemsol Curing products
preferably.

Compatibility Chemplast BV 40 is compatible with the
following additives:
- Sulphate resistant cement
- Silica Fume

Cleaning Clean all equipment and tools with water
immediately after use.
__________________________________________________________________
Remarks When accidental overdosing occurs, the set
retardation is affected. However, no excessive
amount of additional air will be entrained. During
this period the concrete must be kept moist in order
to prevent premature drying out.

Precautions 1. Accidental splashes to the skin must be washed
off with water and soap.
2. Accidental splashes to the eyes must be rinsed with
clean warm water. Seek medical attention without
delay.
