Water Reducing, Retarder Concrete Admixture

Product Chemplast P- 200 is used as a concrete plasticizer-
Description retarder where slump retaining properties are
required.

Uses Chemplast P- 200 is used to produce slump
retention concrete in applications such as:
- Ready mixed concrete.
- Elevated concrete temperatures
- Difficult placing conditions
- Long transport distances
- Reduction in water cement ratio.

Dosage 0.3 0.8% by weight of cement. It is advisable to
carry out trial mixes to establish the exact dosage
rate required.

Depending Chemplast P 200 is added to the gauging water
prior to its addition to the dry mix.

Concrete Placing The standard concreting practices (production as
well as placing) must be followed when using
Chemplast P 200.
__________________________________________________________________
Curing Fresh concrete must be cured properly, especially at
higher than normal temperatures in order to prevent
plastic and drying shrinkage. Use Chemsol curing
agents preferably.

Compatibility Chemplast P 200 can be combined with other
concrete admixtures. It is also compatible with
sulfate resistant cement.

Cleaning Clean all equipment and tools with water
immediately after use.
__________________________________________________________________
Remarks When accidental overdosing occurs, the set
retarding effect increases. During this period the
concrete must be kept moist in order to prevent
premature drying out. Additional amount of air
entertainment may also occur.

Precautions 1. Accidental splashes to the skin must be washed
off with water and soap.
2. Accidental splashes to the eyes must be rinsed
with clean water. Seek medical attention without
