My fellow Augustinian Law students, It's been a long year for me.
You may always
see me around the corridor of Rhada or FLD , inside the Library in deep slumber , inside the SAL lounge drinking my coffee , Printing something at the Law office, or just sitting listening to my teacher like a true Augustinian good boi. Now as I step down ,I hope I was a good President. I hope in your eyes I was serving you. I hope I was able to satisfy your needs and give your wants. But for me one thing that I can assure you. Every day, I learned from you. You made me a better President, and you made me a better man. Over the course of this administration, I've seen unity in this college. Where students gets out from their comfort zones just to give pride for this college. I've seen how this college became a power house of Moot Court in the South east Asia. Shout out to the Parliament Chair Mr. Jeremy Moreno. I would also like to recognize their achievements on the International Humanitarian Rights Mootcourt Competition where team IHL composed of Wade , Junine , Keysie and Ricard reached the Qualifiers. Also, the Teehankee team composed of Junine , Mitzi, Fyda and Tokie where they represented the college at the Teehankee Moot Court competition held in Ateneo De Manila. I would also like to recognize our Stetson Team composed of Wade, Charven, Jesse and Zarah where my good friend Wade was considered as one of the best oralist in the South East Asia. Let's give a hand to our MOOT COURT WARRIORS! BULAHAN KAMO! Further, I've seen students sacrifice their time to attend classes just to help and serve our Bar Takers. Kudos to the Bar Operations for filling the hearts of our Bar takers and the stomach of our students! I would like to thank my supportive friend Raemman Lagrada. Bulahan kamo! I've also seen women of the college of law paving the way to excellence. Shout out to the Portia Queen who made this night a come true. Bulahan kamo Portia! There are so many of you! Thank you for representing the college! I've seen transcendence of students. Where they go out from the four walls of the classroom and help in nation building. We in the Sigma Alpha Lex has maintained programs like our Sipitan out reach where we help a community to develop and also this year we launched our program named Legal Literacy where we the law students help in Public legaleducation and legal awareness. It is promotion consciousness of legal culture, participation in the formation of laws and the rule of law. What a year it has been!
