His 101 History of Europe to 1648- I took this class at Copiah- Lincoln Community

College. It was titled as Western Civilization I there. The class covered several kings and

queens of England, such as the Plantagenet kings. It also covered other European

societies during that time.


His 102 History of Europe Since 1648- I took this class at the University of Mississippi.

This class consisted of books to read and write papers on, in class assignments, and tests.

We discussed the Reign of Terror in France. We also covered the World Wars in Europe

and things behind the scenes of the wars. We had to read Frankenstein and a book about

the royalty of Vienna.


His 105 The United States to 1877- I took this class at the University of Mississippi.

We covered the discovery of America through Westward Expansion, from the pilgrims

through Native American Removal westward. We had a midterm, final, books to read,

and papers to write.


His 106 The United States Since 1877- I took this class at the University of Mississippi.

This class actually focused more on the African American fight for freedom, after we

went through the last part of Westward Expansion. We had a midterm, final, papers, and a

research paper to write.


His 305 The United States, World War I- 1945- I took this class at the University of

Mississippi. This class did not have any tests; we only had papers to write on books we

read and notes we took in class. We covered from the Gilded Age through the end of

World War II.


His 330 The History of Mississippi- This class covered when slavery first came to

Mississippi through Westward Expansion through the Civil Rights Movement. We had

books to read, extra readings with quizzes, and an essay style midterm and final.
His 358 Europe in Age of Revolution, 1789-1890- I took this class at the University of

Mississippi. This class covered the many revolutions in Europe. We covered Napoleon
Bonaparte quite well, in fact, one book for the class was on Napoleon. We wrote papers

and took tests. We could choose to write one of our papers as a review of a book relating

to the time period.


His 392 Conquest & Resistance in Latin America 1450-1800- I took this class at the

University of Mississippi. We started with a book called Malintzins Choices that talked

about Hernan Cortes explorations of Central America with a woman who could translate

different Central American languages to Spanish and back. We also went on to study

other explorers who made their way to the Americas.


His 395 China in Revolution- I took this class at the University of Mississippi. This

class stretched form the last Chinese dynasty through the reign on Mao Zedong. The class

consisted of reading books and writing papers on them, as well as a midterm, final, and

pop quizzes on the extra readings we had for the class. This was one of the most

demanding classes I had at the University of Mississippi.


His 400 Undergrad Research: US History- This class was a research history on the

University of Mississippi. The topic I chose to write on was musicians that the Associated

Student Body invited into the university. I researched using yearbooks from the 1950s

and 1960s, and using websites discussing the artists who visited the university.
Aas 325 African American History to 1865- I took this class at the University of

Mississippi. We covered different societies in Africa that may have actually started other

societies around the African continent. We then went on to discuss how slavery was

started in other societies, such as in Europe and America. We also discussed slave

revolutions, such as the Haitian Revolution where the slaves won their freedom.
Psy 201 General Psychology- I took this class at Copiah-Lincoln Community College.

The class consisted of learning about how the mind works according to different

theorists, such as Piaget and Vygotsky.


Econ 202 Principles of Microeconomics- I took this class at Copiah-Lincoln

Community College. This class was very easy to me because the teacher broke

everything down very well, even after he told me that I most likely would not pass

without taking Macroeconomics first. It deals with smaller/more personal finances.


Econ 203 Principles of Macroeconomics- I took this class at the University of

Mississippi. This deals with corporations and other big businesses.


Geog 101 Introduction to Geography- I took this class at the University of Mississippi.

It was focused on human geography, so the societies of the world. We learned about

societies from third world countries to the tomato pickers in Florida.


Pol 101 Introduction to American Politics- I took this class at the University of

Mississippi. It covered different parts of the American political system.


Pol 102 Introduction to Comparative Politics- I took this class at the University of

Mississippi. This class covered the political systems of several countries, like America

and Russia. It also covered some things about terrorism.


Soc 101 Introductory Sociology I- I took this class at Copiah-Lincoln Community

College. It covered different societies and their customs, such as America and India.

Different societies look at different groups of people/classes in different ways.


Phil 101 Introduction to Philosophy- I took this class at the University of Mississippi.

We covered many theories by famous philosophers. We had tests, and we were required

to attend a Philosophy talk at a conference on the University of Mississippi campus.
