Rub-a-dub-dub,
three guys
in a tub
Who says physics cant
be fun? GHS science
teacher Todd Glaser
were recently given his
students the task of
constructing boats, the
main materials being
cardboard and duct tape
(no Flex Seal where the
guy saws a boat in half
as seen on TV). It is a
good lesson on scaling,
water displacement,
calculation of buoyancy
and other physics
concepts. Apparently,
Mr. Glaser has some
excellent students as
Luke Breigenzer, Matt
Reyling and Benji Phillips
took a hot lap around the
pool at the Cottonwood
Inn, going so fast they
were making a wake
and causing camera
blur. Good thing FWP
wasnt at the scene we
dont see where theres
enough room in this
water craft to have some
PFDs (personal flotation
devices) on board.
