academic community called a college, as well as being members
of the wider University. Colleges offer a safe and supportive
environment to foster the academic development and welfare
of every one of their students. Colleges are also physical buildings,
with a dining hall, bar, common room and library. Everyone lives
in college accommodation in their first and usually last year.
