Course Description:

An introductory course on business systems analysis within the


framework of the system development life cycle. Topics include:
business case analysis, requirement gathering, requirement modeling,
enterprise modeling, and development strategies.

Week 2 rest of chapter 1 quiz 1 5 points

Discussion Boards: Discussion Board participation is similar to in-
class discussions. If you do not participate by
the assigned due date then you will receive a
0. The due dates for the Discussion Board
anticipation are posted in advance. Discussion
Board entries will be graded on content,
spelling and grammar.

Assignments: Due dates will be announced with each


assignment. Assignments submitted one to
seven days after the due date will result in a
grade reduction of two letter grades.
Assignments submitted more than seven days
after the assigned due date will not be
accepted. As with all assignments, grading
will be determined by content, and accuracy of
spelling and grammar.

Quizzes/Tests: Tests are comprehensive over all units completed


prior to the test date.

Quizzes and tests will be available in


Blackboard for a minimum of three (3) days.
Make-up tests will be given only with
documented proof of illness. It is the
students responsibility to contact the
instructor by the announced due date of the
missed test to make arrangements for a make-
up. All make-up tests will be held on campus.

Please note that it is common for computers to


freeze, experience power outages, etc. so do
not wait until the last minute to take the
assessment.
