Whole Class:
Compare characters- Vanno, Peto, Jocko in a triple venn diagram

C. Consolidation and Practice 35 mins


Students complete the following questions in relation to their chosen
character
o A description of your character and how they came to be in
Dampier
o Describe your character - their attitudes, their habits, quirky details,
things that they say etc.
o Re-tell the story of how Red Dog inspired, saved or helped your
character
o How does your character belong within the community of
Dampier?
o How does this character deal with loss?

Students need to write a detailed paragraph on each question


Once finished, students need to publish in either written on typed
(PowerPoint) form
Extension:

Students can compare character profiles with a partner and complete


a Venn diagram
