11.Certified copies of Registration Certificate, Partnership Deed and Power of Attorney or
Articles of Association in case of Limited Companies will have to be furnished along with
the tender to render the tender eligible for consideration.
12.Every Contractor should furnish along with his tender proof of his / their technical and
organizational competence to execute the Work of the above nature and magnitude
adequately supported with testimonials and certificates from the organizations for which
they have executed similar work in the past 8 years.
13.The rate and amount against each item of work shall be filled up only in the tender
papers issued to the tenderers. No paper, sheet, drawing, addendum or any other
attachments/ details shall be detached from the Tender Document issued along with the
tenders.
14.The quoted rates shall be for the works specified with Recommended Make of Materials
Only and in line with the instructions, specification and technical details as specified in
the tender. In case the tenderer wishes to quote with alternative make of materials, its
rates shall be indicated separately along with a justification as to why the recommended
make is not being quoted for.
15.The tenders shall be duly signed by a competent and authorized person and duly
stamped with the company stamp on all the pages of the tender.
16.The Tenderer to note that he shall construct his temporary Stores/ Office at the place
indicated at site at his own cost. He shall re-locate if required and demolish the so
constructed temporary Stores/ Office during the period of works & at the end of the
works and shall remove all the debris to leave the area clean to the satisfaction of the
Engineer In Charge / EICs at No extra cost to the Owner.
17.The Owner / EICs reserve the right to split the Contract into two or more as the case
may be and award the work to different Contractors, without assigning any explanation
or justification for the same.
18.The Contractor shall not be entitled to any compensation for any loss suffered by him on
account of delays, in commencing or executing the works, whatsoever the cause of
delay may be, including the delays arising out of the modification to the works
applicable to him or in any sub-contract connected therewith or delays in awarding
contracts for other trades of the project or in commencement and completion of such
works or in procuring Government controlled or other building materials or in obtaining
water and power connections for construction purposes or for any claim in respect
thereof. The Owner does not accept liability for any sum towards loss of overheads &
profits of the contractor beside the Tender amount, subject to such variations as are
provided for herein.
