i. Two written Papers of Three Hours and 100 Marks for each paper
ii One oral exam: 100 Marks
iii. Internal Assessment: 50 Marks

PAPER A
Note: Use of dictionary is allowed

i. Translation of any two easy unseen texts from German into English (50)

ii. Short essay in German of minimum 150 words on an easy topic


(Suggested topics: Meine Familie; Eine Reise; Meine Stadt; Mein Haus;
Meine Universitt) (25)

iii. General questions on Germany / German-speaking countries:

i. Applied grammar representing the grammar of the prescribed text-book (80)

ii. Comprehension:
Questions based on an easy unseen text in German
