Feedback:
I do not feel like I have any issue with this
disposition. I am very prompt, I only miss
anything if I absolutely have to (I havent
missed any of EDUC 450 classes this
semester). I always make sure I am the best
dressed in the room so that I look
professional. And I am very cognizant of the
language I am using, especially when I am
inside of a school.

Feedback:
Because I have wanted to be a teacher for
such a long time, this is a standard that I do
not have a lot of problem with, because I want
to be the absolute best teacher that I can
possibly be. The only thing I am concerned
about in this standard is that when a problem
comes up in my classroom, I will not
prioritize or propose the solutions that will
actually fix the problem. I know that this is
going to happen at some point, but I am
worried about how I will handle it when it
DOES happen.

Feedback:
I do not think that this will be a standard that I
have an issue with because I feel like as a
human being in general I have pretty good
tact and judgement. The only thing that I am
worried about is that sometimes it is very hard
for me to keep an open mind on situations in
my personal life, and so I do not exactly know
what my mind will do when I am in a
classroom. Hopefully because it is in a
different environment than my personal life, it
will be easier to keep my mind open, but it
may be something that I have to teach myself.

This is another standard that I am not at all
worried about in my teaching career because I
know how important it is for all of this to
happen. Also, I live by the golden rule, Treat
others the way you want to be treated, and
because I would want people to do what is
mentioned to the left to me, I want to do this
to everyone.

Feedback:
This is another standard that I am not really
worried about. This is because I want to be a
very good teacher, but also because I am a
very good student, and a lot of what goes into
this disposition goes into being a good college
student. Once again, the only thing I am
worried about inside of this disposition deals
with having an open mind and thinking about
what other people think about a situation
rather than just myself.

Feedback:
This is another standard that I feel like I will
really excel at. I know when it is and is not
appropriate at being professional, so I know
that I will not have to worry about being
unprofessional at times. The only part of this
disposition that I may struggle with is using
digital media in a professional manner. In all
of the lessons that I have taught inside of
schools, I have not used media in interesting
ways, I have only had a PowerPoint slide to
go along with my lesson, and I am not sure if
that is what it means by professional
manner.

I am in the category of Proficient:
31-35 points: The candidates displayed dispositions are consistent with those of a
successful beginning teacher. The candidates dispositions, as demonstrated by
daily interactions contribute to a positive learning climate in the classroom and
school.
This is probably the disposition that I am at
the highest level in right now. I want to be a
very successful teacher, and because of this, I
am always looking for ways to be better,
which goes exactly in what this disposition
does.

Feedback:
This is a disposition that I understand very
well on paper, but it is one that I have had the
least experience with in all of the experience
that I have had. So this is the disposition that I
need to focus on the most because even
though I know the ways to make sure that I
am being culturally responsive, how to
differentiate, and how important it is to keep
the families of the students involved in their
childs education, I have not actually had to
physically do it, so I will not be very strong at
it when I do have to do this.

Feedback:
Once again, because I am so passionate about
becoming a teacher, I am not really worried
about this disposition. I have already been
told just talking about how excited I am to be
a teacher, that I have so much passion, which
is really exciting to hear before I have a
classroom. I am hoping that the passion and
the enthusiasm will just keep growing and
growing year by year.
