Like Lick 2, this example shows some ideas for using the major pentatonic (F G A C
D) over the F7 and the minor pentatonic (F Ab Bb C Eb) with the added 6th (G) over
the Bb7. In bar 8, I played around Fmaj7 over the F7... this is strictly incorrect but
you can hear it a lot in classic bebop.
