Eric Strimling You know, these were 30 middle school kids. Eye
witnesses call them small. If the adults on the train had simply stood
up and told them no they would have been stopped. It is only because
half of America is afraid to offend anyone and the other half can only
have courage if they have a gun in their hand that incidents like this
can happen.

Ken Ishida Alex, Although I'm currently in Alameda, I've worked in

over a dozen city/states, including Oakland, Memphis, Ciudad Juarez

ghetto like Oakland) for 20 years.

So my experience and exposure makes me qualified to identify losers

Crumpette on this. Women are champions at dealing with the dailly
danger of coexisting with men. Not all men, not all the time, but too
many women you know have been victims of violence in one form or
another, and it is our simple reality that we work around this, and deal
with it. That should be infuriating to everyone, by the way, male and

Chris Reynolds Not me. I never suggested I want to shoot anyone ... simply
alluded to the fact that I wouldn't really care if some violent criminals
sustained permanent injuries due to lead poisoning. If a persona is criminally
violent it should be considered no big deal for those perps to fall in the
commission of their terrorising crimes. I wouldn't shoot anyone, unless they

Eric Strimling So stealing purse should be a capital crime?
Like Reply 1 10 hrs

Chris Reynolds No it should not be. But in the commission of any

crime of violence a perp should assume that someone has the right to
defend with deadly force. Once in a courtroom, where capital crimes
are adjudicated, a purse theft should get a perp no more than two or
three years, depending on prior crimes.

Chris Reynolds Shooting a kid should only occur during the actual
commission of a crime. Hunting someone down in a parking lot for
revenge does no good at all. It stops no actual "in-progress" crime.
Shooting a kid who is tugging on a purse and slapping a person, THAT
would stop an "in-progress" crime.
