Summary:
TheProjectManagerisresponsibletomanagetechnicalandnontechnicalprojectsinsupportofDDNJs
strategicgoalsandobjectives.TheprojectswillconsistofsmallertomediumscaledprojectswithintheDDNJ
projectpipeline.Thispositionwillberequiredtomanagemultiplesmallertomediumsizedprojectsatanyone
time.ProjectManagementProfessional(PMP)certificationisstronglypreferred.
EssentialDutiesandResponsibilities
WorkwiththeProjectSponsorsintheplanninganddefinitionofprojects.
Overseeprojectteams,includingresourcesthatdonothaveadirectreportingrelationship.
DevelopprojectplansandmanageprojectsfollowingtheProjectManagementOffices(PMO)
definedprocesses,includingthecreationandmanagementofaformalProjectManagementPlan.
Manageprojectissuesandriskstoensureprojectscompleteontimeandwithinbudget.
Analyzeissuesanddevelopcreativesolutionstosupportresolution.
Facilitateprojectteammeetings.
Regularlyreportonprojectstatus.
Developandmanageproductiveworkingrelationshipwithprojectsponsorsandotherstakeholders.
ProjectManagementandRelatedContent
Knowledgeofprojectmanagementmethodologiesandprinciples(PDLC,SDLC).
Experiencemanagingbothtechnicalandnontechnicalprojectsofvarioussizeandcomplexity.
Excellentwritingskills,includingexperiencewritingProjectPlans,RequirementsandFunctional
Specifications.
Technicalbackgroundandfamiliaritywithallstagesofthesystemsdevelopmentlifecycle(e.g.,from
inceptionthroughdelivery).
