ABSTRACT
Learning is an activity that teachers do to achieve the goal of learning is
good. To achieve these objectives the teacher make efforts so that an increase in the desired student learning outcomes. Based on the researcher's field notes that the low quality of thematic learning. Therefore, a teacher needs to consider a model for effective learning and appropriate in order to improve student learning outcomes. One of the learning model is tested through this study is a model of learning Project Based Learning. This study aims to (1) assess the understanding of the concept of fourth grade students learn SDN I Tanjunganom Cirebon after learning model using Project Based Learning. (2) To reveal the understanding of the concept of fourth grade students learn SDN I Tanjunganom Cirebon before and after using the Project Based Learning model of learning. (3) Improve understanding of the concept of fourth grade students learn SDN I Tanjunganom Cirebon through Project Based Learning model of learning. The results showed that the use of Project Based Learning model of teaching, student learning outcomes in a variety of source material energy 2 learning activities can be improved.
