Tiritake Phenomenon

T he first excavations in ancient Tiritake in 1930s gave some Late Roman finds testifying to
the presence of the early Christian basilica in the town. However the recent explorations
in the field of Judaic temple antiquities and the analysis of these artifacts have convinced the
author that it was a small Judaic synagogue.
