1st Grade class

I chose to have the teachers desk on the corner so I can have a good view of all the different areas of the

class room. I can see the door at all times as to see anyone who enters or exits the classroom. I have the

white board, daily calendar, and weekly jobs in front of the childrens desk so they stay at their desks

during the different activities. With 1st graders they will need to learn the days of the week & learn to pitch

in with weekly jobs. I put the reading rug and computer lab behind the childrens desk so it isnt a

distraction for any children who may be working at their desk. For teaching 1 st grade I think there should

be a reward for good behavior so I added an outstanding behavior box to the classroom.
