OBJECTIVES:
Psychomotor
1. The student will perform locomotor and nonlocomotor movements to a song during the dance
portion of class as directed by the instructor.
Cognitive
1. The students will listen to animal sounds, identify the animal and mimic its movements.
Affective
1. The students will participate in dance and rhythm activities with a positive attitude.
Part 2. Lesson Focus:P. E. 1.16 Perform locomotor and nonlocomotor movements to a steady
beat.
Part 3. Closing Activity: P.E. 3.6 Stretch arms, shoulders, back, and legs without hyperflexing
or hyperextending the joints.
PART 1: INTRODUCTORY ACTIVITY (2-5 mins) (You will not teach this part during

Part 3:
