We are Alive Nation
Pakistan is a God gifted land that we achieved after immense and invalues sacrifices. We pronounced and shared the sentence we are Alive nation particularly on special occasion like Pakistan Day or Independence Day etc with the excessive feelings of patriotism and emotional attachment to the country. However, the sentence contradicts the reality of the prevailing situations waving flags, paintings our faces green and white, releasing green and white balloons in the air etc are the activities that have replaced true patriotism. Never the less the sign of our patriotic fervour is seen in the thousand of torn and ragged paper flags that are left carelessly on roads and streets on the very next day. However, having no mission or goals we wait for something to happen or someone to change Pakistan for better. We are all, no doubt ready to lay down our life for Pakistan but we also need to live for Pakistan, to think and work hard for Pakistan, for its development and its progress. When the love is sincere and true for the country it becomes possible for the nation to overcome the great problems. Fatima Jinnah, one of the leading founders of Pakistan, has said there is a magic power in your hands. Take your vital decisions they may be grave and momentous and far-reaching in their consequences. Think hundred times before you take any decision, but once a decision is taken, stand by it as one man. So be visionary, keep mission and 4
