experiment in teaching practice for grade 2, I was using many different roles in
teaching to manage the classroom such as; Time management, using different skills,
Time management can affect positively and negatively for the whole lesson, so the
teacher should organize her time and prepare a lesson plan for each lesson because it
plays a huge part of time management. Besides; the teacher needs to mix up the
learning skills because there are a low, high and medium student in the class and,
there is oral, visual and kinesthetic learner so the teacher has to mix up the skills to
help all students in the class. A visual person learns more easily if data is presented
give teacher the ability to explore the child and see what he is thinking about and what
he needs from the teacher, Moreover teacher needs to create a relationships with
students to develop their language and their social personality, she also needs to use
creative activities and different materials to give students the ability to enjoy and had
fun in the class which is can affect and make student more interested in learning.
More than that teacher can use points, gifts, eye contact can work with the students
In teaching practice I start to use the timer because this helps to organize the time
during the lesson, I also create lessons that include different activities that support
reading, writing, listening and speaking skills to motive the students and help create a
strong self-confidence with learners. In addition, at the first day, I tried to save the
students name because this will increase their self-esteem, talk and communicate with
them to develop their language and knowledge learner need a social environment to
grow the language up.(Smidt, 2009). However, the teacher can create a learning
environment and effective lessons that the student needs. Besides, in the class, I was
using the eye contact and one two three eyes on me strategies because this works
Boys learners are more active and this may be influenced the class rules, Having
fewer activities can break the rules because students will have the chance to talk and
play during the class if the teacher didnt have anything to do and Moving to other
areas such as class, library and laboratory may also affect the rules.
In conclusion, respect students and the student will respect you and each teacher
should create her own rules in the classroom to make an effective lesson.
