Explain: The students were motivated and willing to work all the time in class.
Explain: This was geometry class teacher was modelling how to solve questions after he
explained the topic. Sometimes the teacher asked questions about the content. This helped
students to motivate and keep them on task. At the beginning of the class Mr. Denizli lectured
for the new topic and solved some examples. Next he gave them instructions asked them to
work on four questions with their partners. Then, he monitored and guided the groups by visiting
them during they were working on the problems.
Explain: He used document camera to make note taking easier and help students to use drawn
pictures to work on the examples.

Explain: While he was explaining the topic he wanted them to listen then he asked them to work
on the questions with their groups. He was walking around to see if anyone needs help, also
students were asking questions to each other in their group.
Explain: He prepared a note taking worksheet and gave it to the students after their bell work.
He used the worksheet for note taking and examples. Students were listening him while he was
explaining the topic. After his instruction they were working together on the problems. At the end
of the class Mr. Denizli gave homework to students for practicing the topic.

Explain: Mr. Denizli had very good communication with the students so he did not have any
major classroom management problem. There were a few students off the topic, he warned
them verbally and they get on task.
I really enjoyed observing this lesson. The teacher used instructional time effectively. Students
were engaged in small group work. Distribution and collection of the materials were smooth. The
teacher had very good rapport with his students. Students knew what is expected of them. The
teacher constantly walked around to check for understanding and provided feedback to the
students regularly. The teacher asked some questions to the students to find out whether students
learned or not.
