World Geography
In this class, we are learning about how
human and physical systems influence conflict
in Rwanda. When learning about Rwanda we
also learn the issues that they are facing
there.
We are also learning about how the different
climates are affected by the development of a
region. We are also learning about how the
climate affects the population settlement
patterns in an area. The last main thing we
will learn about is how population distribution
is related to urbanization and modernization.

Volume 1, Issue 1
US History
In this class, we are starting to learn how the
Constitution and Articles of Confederation
affect each other. We are learning about
national infrastructure and the new legislation
in the United States.
We also are learning about the abolitionist
movement, how slavery spurred division
between the North and the South before the
Civil War, Emancipation Proclamation, and
Shermans march through Georgia.
Economics ILT
In this class, we are starting to learn about
the different economies there are. We are
also learning about how prices are
determined in the market economy. We are
learning how the market structure
influences the number of firms selling a
product and the price change.
We are also learning how businesses are
started and ran in the United States and
how forming partnerships can be positive
and negative for a business.
Civics
In this class, we are learning about the
Legislative Branch. We are also learning
about the purpose of an interest group, what
a lobbyist is and does and thinks he/she does,
who comes up with ideas for bills, and why it
is set this way.
We also are learning about the different types
of committees there are in Congress, what
committees are important to the legislative
process, and what these committees do.
When learning about bills, we are learning
which House starts the appropriation bills.
