Brief Description of Learning Experience: With this lesson students will creating their 3D figures via a
computer program called Tinkercad. The teacher will introduce this program during class. Students will
receive the opportunity to work on their Tinkercad projects. Once students have a project completed they
will upload their picture to the blog post. In the blog they will post their creation and their mathematical
problem. Students are to choose 2 problems from their peers to solve. It should take 1-2 days. Other
mathematicians and middle schoolers will be their target area for this assignment.

Internet Safety and Student Privacy: To minimize possible safety and privacy issues students will only
create usernames that will not include their first or last name. Student work will be original therefore it will
comply with the copyright policies.
Describe your personal learning goal for this activity. My goal for this activity is that students are able to
interact with technology and create a product. This software also allows for 3-D printing and that would be
another goal if we could print out their projects, but for now it is for them to develop a figure and for them
to come up with a way to use that in their lives.
