Marriages below the age of 18 years has become a common issue in countries.

marriage law Chapter II Article 7, paragraph 1, states that marriage is only allowed if the man
reaches the age of 19 (nineteen) years and the woman has reached the age of sixteen (16)
years. it is intended that both sides are ready and mature in terms of physical, psychological,
and mental. there are various reasons that cause the early marriage, sometimes accidental or
planned. some reason is often the case, among others; economic factors where parents marry
off their children at the more established family or just to reduce the cost of daily living. The
second factor is matchmaking, perhaps this factor is very small, but a few cases in rural areas
is still often the case, the third factor is the true love, where both couples getting married is

argument, children who marry early may think older, married people tend to have a more
mature thinking in action and behavior. The second argument is about being responsible.

couple. The level of understanding is developed only when the girl and boy are matured
enough to understand each other and their environment. in terms of health, especially for
women are particularly at risk, pregnant at a young age is very dangerous for the labor and
health of the uterus. then according to psychologists, in terms of social, early marriage can
reduce the harmonization of the family. this is caused by emotions that are still unstable and
immature way of thinking.
